Does online account access replace my account statements?

Not at this time, but we are working on an electronic statement delivery solution to allow you to select that option. At this time, all billing statements as well as quarterly annuity statements; and online transactions confirmations are sent by regular mail.

Annuity customers can choose to receive their prospectus and annual report documents electronically by registering for eDelivery online.

How do I change my address or correct my contact information?

Visit our Customer Care Center and select the "Change your address" link that is under the Welcome section to provide your updated information. Please realize that if you have homeowners insurance that you need to update as a result of an address change, you need to contact your agent or call us toll free at 800-999-1030. Requesting an online address change will not signal any coverage changes.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password during the login process, or you can access it under the Welcome section on your My Account screen.

Remember: Your password must:

  • Be between 8 and 20 characters.
  • Contain at least one alphabetic character.
  • Contain at least one digit or one special character (!@#$%^&*).
  • Passwords are case sensitive, but you are not required to use capital letters.

You can choose how to contact Horace Mann. You can reach your agent by phone, e-mail or through the website. You can reach our Customer Care Center representatives Monday - Friday 7 AM to 6 PM CDT (annuity, life and group) and 7 AM to 8 PM CDT (auto and property) toll free at 800-999-1030.   • Visit our Contact Us page.
  • Select "Other" from the subject drop-down menu.
  • Submit as much detail as possible, including the page where you encountered the problem and any error messages.

My email address has changed. How can I update that with you?

The best way to provide us with that information is to login to the online Customer Care Center and send us a secure message asking to update that information. You can access our secure message feature under the Welcome section of the Account Summary page. We will identify that as your primary contact e-mail address for any future contacts.
